GOKU HUG EVENT PT. 1
I'M DOING 10 AT A TIME AJDNJE
"Gohan! Hehe, c'mere!"
"Huh? Oh. Why so suddenly?"
"I'm making a hug list!"
"Huh. Wait, a hug what now?"
Gohan's my son, so hugging him feels like second nature! He's taken after Chi-Chi more, but I'm still so proud of him! Sometimes he seems a little stressed, but after a big old hug he seems a lot more relaxed.
"...and GOTCHA!"
"Wha-?! Raditz? What gives?!"
"I heard you're ranking hugs, so how was mine? Obviously the best, right?"
"..."
Raditz (literally) crashed into our lives years ago, and he kinda stuck around since. He's nicer, but still has that rough Saiyan edge to him. I'm still wrapping my head around us being brothers. His hug is... surprising, to say the least.
"Broly, do you know what a hug is?"
"...is it a bad thing?"
"Nah, it's really great! C'mere and I'll show you how to do it,"
"Okay...oh. This feels...nice,"
Broly is pretty big, and kinda tough. It makes sense when his diet consisted of mainly bugs and nothing else. Still, Broly is so much gentler than he looks, and he even started hugging as a greeting! Hehe, hopefully I won't get in trouble for that...
"Vegeta..."
"No. I've seen that ridiculous thing you've been doing to everyone, and I'd rather die than be included in...whatever clownery you're involved in,"
"Vegeta..."
"Kakarot, don't you dare come any-!"
Vegeta didn't like hugs very much, but he's real tiny, so he's practically made for them! He reminds me of Scratch when I tried to pet him, one minute he's tense and the next he's squirming away. Well, at least Scratch didn't punch me through a wall afterwards...
"Buu sees Goku hug! Buu wants hug too!"
"Okay sure! Wow, you're less sticky than I...thought?!"
"Mmm Buu feels hungry..."
"???!!!"
It was like getting absorbed by Super Buu all over again. I enjoyed it as much as I did the first time.
"So you flew all the way up here...for a hug,"
"Yup!"
"...ugh, fine. You've asked for weirder things,"
"Yay!"
Piccolo is probably the tallest person I know! It's hard to believe that he's around the same age as my son, I see him more like an old friend now. He's surprisingly warm, so I get how Gohan got attached to him so easily.
"Things in the new universe has been going smoothly, but I'm still anxious about what the future might bring. So, I'm wondering if you could train...uh, are...are you hugging me?"
"Shh. Just let it happen,"
"..."
I can really see the resemblance between Future Trunks and my son. Gohan really raised him well, but I'm afraid he might've taken too much on his shoulders way too soon. He really needed a hug, and I'm happy to give him as much as he needs!
"A hug? Sure! Get over here you rascal!"
"Hehe, it's been a while huh?"
"..."
"Uh. Bulma?"
Bulma was the first human friend I ever had, if not for her, I would've still been stuck in that forest all alone! So I'm grateful for that. We haven't hung out in a while but she's a little too clingy, even for me. She must've really missed me!
"Chiii! Can I get a hug?"
"What? Of course, silly! Why do you even have to ask?"
I married Chi-Chi when we were really young, but we've stuck together ever since. She cooks really good food and gets me better than anyone else. She can be overbearing and loud, but I love that part of her too. We hug daily, and it feels great every time!
"Hey dad! I heard you've been making some sort of hug list, can I be in it?"
"Oh, sure!"
"Sweet! So? I rank pretty high huh?"
"Hmm, I'll tell you when I'm done with it,"
Goten has been growing a lot lately, he's almost a head taller than me now! I wonder if he takes after the Ox King, Chi-Chi's old man is pretty big! Goten has been pretty independent lately, but hugging him reminds me of when he still needed help changing clothes... sigh, kids grow up so fast now.
